gynandrism
1. Said to be an imprecise term for hermaphroditism.
2. An older term for female pseudohermaphroditism.

A reference to a woman who resembles a man.

An abnormal combination of male and female characteristics.

1. Pertaining to a hermaphrodite or a pseudohermaphrodite.
2. Applied to those flowers and plants in which the stamens and pistil are united in one column, as in orchids; said also of the stamens.
hendecandrous (adjective), more hendecandrous, most hendecandrous
Pertaining to plants that have eleven stamens: "The hendecandrous parts of flower that produce pollen or a powder that is carried away by insects or the wind to the stigmas which produce fruit or other items that plants develop."
heptander (s) (noun), heptanders (pl)
In botany, certain plants that have seven stamens: "Trina noticed that she had some heptanders among her collections of flowers."
heterandrous
In botany, having stamens or anthers of different forms or various sizes.
hexandrous
In botany, having six stamens.
homoeandrous
Having only one kind of stamen.
isandrous
In botany, of a flower, having stamens that are alike and are of a quantity equal to the number of petals.
macrandrous
1. A large male, although the term should properly be megandrous.
2. In botany, having elongated male plants or elements.
man, men, male, masculine, manhood
1. A reference to a human being, regardless of gender or age; a person.
2. A human or an adult-male human belonging to a specific occupation, group, nationality, or other category; for example, it is often used in combinations: a TV repairman, a milkman, a congressman, a freeman.
3. The human race; mankind; such as, man's quest for peace.
4. In zoology, a member of the genus Homo, family Hominidae, an order of Primates, class Mammalia, characterized by an erect posture and an opposable thumb.

A member of the only species, Homo sapiens, distinguished by a highly developed brain, the capacity for abstract reasoning, and the ability to communicate by means of organized speech and recorded information in a variety of symbolic systems.

5. A male human endowed with qualities; such as, strength, considered characteristic of manhood.

Traditionally, the oldest use of the term man and words derived from it (men, manhood, women, etc.), indicated any or all members of the human race regardless of gender or age.

Having fewer testes than is normal.
metandrous
Said of a plant in which the female flower is mature before the male.
micrander, micrandrous
Pertaining to or connected with the dwarf males of fresh-water algae.
