grapho-, graph-, -graph, -graphy, -grapher, -graphia

hierographical
1. Pertaining to, or descriptive of, sacred writing.
2. Descriptive of hierograms and the art of writing them.

Of or pertaining to sacred writings.
hierography
1. A description of sacred things; a description of religions.
2. Sacred writing; writing by hierograms.
histidine or His (tissue) bundle electrography
1. A test that measures electrical activity in a part of the heart which carries the signals that control the time between heartbeats or contractions.
2. The recording of an electrogram from the His bundle (arioventricular bundle or a group of fibers that carry electrical impulses through the center of the heart) usually by an intravenous introduction of an electrode.

Risks of the procedure include:

  • Arrhythmias or any disorder of the heart rate or rhythm during which the heart beats too quickly, too slowly, or with an irregular pattern.
  • Cardiac tamponade or the compression of the heart that occurs when blood or fluid builds up in the space between the myocardium (the muscle of the heart) and the pericardium (the outer covering sac of the heart).
  • Embolism from blood clots at the tip of the catheter.
  • Heart attack which takes when blood vessels that supply blood to the heart are blocked, preventing enough oxygen from getting to the heart.
  • Hemorrhage or the escape of blood from a ruptured vessel.
  • Infection, an invasion by and multiplication of pathogenic microorganisms in a bodily part or tissue, which may produce subsequent tissue injury and progress to an overt disease through a variety of cellular or toxic mechanisms.
  • Injury to the vein or artery.
  • Low blood pressure.
  • Stroke or the interruption of the blood supply to any part of the brain
histoautoradiography
The process or technique of producing autoradiographs from histologic sections of tissue.

An autoradiograph is an image recorded on a photographic film or plate produced by the radiation emitted from a specimen; such as, a section of tissue, that has been treated or injected with a radioactively labeled isotope or which has absorbed or ingested such an isotope. Also called radioautograph.

A written account of bodily tissue structure.
historadiography
Radiography of tissue, specifically microscopic sections; usually microradiography.
historiographer (s) (noun), historiographers (pl)
1. A specialist in the discipline that records and interprets past events involving human beings.
2. Those who present the past as it is preserved in writing or in a body of knowledge.
historiography (s) (noun, historiographies (pl)
1. The body of literature dealing with past events collectively.
2. A group of techniques, theories, and principles of past research, scholarship, and presentation.
3. The narrative presentation of the past which is based on a critical examination, evaluation, and selection of material from primary and secondary sources and subject to scholarly criteria: "Mark was a historian who specialized in compiling medieval historiographies".
hodograph (s) (noun), hodographs (pl)
An instrument that records the movements of locomotion.
holograph (s) (noun), holographs (pl)
A document entirely handwritten by its author; especially, a manuscript, a letter, or an unwitnessed will: Before Jerry left for his trip to Europe, he wrote out a detailed daily plan, or a holograph, as to when and where he expected to be for the month.
A will or other legal document that is written in the hand by the author.

holographic (adjective), more holographic, most holographic
A reference to a document that is produced in the handwriting of the person whose signature is located there: When Shirley's father wrote his will about how the family's property should be distributed, he wrote an official holographic one so his lawyer would have the authorized procedures which were to be completed after his death.
A document that is written completely by hand by the writer who signs the it.

2. A method of recording and showing a three-dimensional image of an object using a photographic plate and light from a laser.
homalograph
1. In geography, delineating in equal proportion; applied to a method of projection in which equal areas on the earth’s surface are represented by equal areas on the map or chart.
2. Preserving the mutual relations of parts, especially as to size and form; maintaining relative proportion.
