trochal
Resembling or revolving like a wheel.

From Greek trokhos, "wheel", from trekhein, "to run".

trochanter
Either of the two bony prominences at the upper end of the femur lateral to and below its neck.
trochanteritis
An inflammation around the greater trochanter.

It often involves the trochanteric bursa.

trochlea
An anatomic part or structure that resembles a pulley, either in form, as that of the humerus or talus; or in function, as that of the superior oblique muscle of the eye.
