English vocabulary can be enhanced by translating these Greek and Latin elements to simple English
See if you can translate this story from the Latin-Greek elements shown in bold letters into simple English.
You may use a good dictionary with etymological references or, better, go to this
word search page of Latin and Greek etymologies.
Note: Many of the words in this story are NOT real, or legitimate, English words; however, some of them are terms found in dictionaries. The emphasis is to get you to learn the etymological meanings of the Latin and Greek elements and so common English endings are often used; such as "-ed" at the end of the element phagoed. There is no such word as "phagoed"; however, if you know what phago means, than you can figure out what the word means.
The same guidelines apply to other words that end with "-ed", "-ing", etc. If you must look up any of the elements, in most cases you should ignore the suffixes or endings and emphasize the core parts of the words after which the endings should then be a part of your translations.

The Lupus and the Tragas in Conflict
A metro traga who had hepta mini monos was about to exit (it > ex) of her dom to get some sitio. She amat(ed) her kids very multi and uni dies (DEE us) as she was about to go into the sylvan(s) to get the sitio, she convoke(d) omni of them circum her.
"My dear paid(ren)", she said, "Ego am going into the sylvan(s); and while Ego am gone, be vigilant contra the lupus. If he were to get into our eco, his lupine orexia would drive him to phago you holo; derma, osteos, and pan."
"Dear Mater," answered the kids, in their capriloquism, "you don't have to be phobic, we will take bona care of ourselves." Mater traga bleated "good-bye", and went on her via with a pacific feeling that the kids would be all right.
To make this story abridged, the lupus got into the traga's eco, phagoed hex of the hepto kids and went off to somni post his hyper-phagying by swallowing them whole. The lupus went cata by the fluvio to hypno.
The hepto kid was cryptoed and so he was in his dom when the metro traga came retro from the sylvan(s). What a vista greeted Metro Aego when she opened the port. She spectated for her juveniles and could find just mono. This hepto kid explained what happened.
At teleo, she and her remaining kid went exo and came trans the lupus sominiating sub an arbor by the potamo.
She noticed that there were oscillations in the lupus' gastro; so, she incised the gastro, got her kids exo, replaced them with hexa petros, and resewed the abdomen.
When the lupus woke up from his hypno, he was dipso and went to imbibe some hydro from the potamo. As he ambulated to the fluvio, he recited the following:
"What is this Ego aesthete inside me
Knocking duro anti my osteos?
How should such a thing betide me!?
They were kids, and now they're lithos."
When he stooped to imbibe from the potamo, the grav lithos baroed him cata into the hydro and he thanatosed in the fluvio.
So it is that we have another story to flect children into misolupus. The maledictions contra these quadri-peds (Latin) fauna have extended into our social biosphere and anthropos have become hyper lupocides which has upset our natural eco-system.
