endopyelotomy
Surgery to correct a stenosed (constricted or narrowed) ureteropelvic (tube moving the urine from a kidney with each kidney having one ureter to the bladder located in the curved group of bones at the level of the hips) where they are joined together by cutting from inside with an instrument that is inserted through an endoscope.

1. An x-ray study of the kidney especially showing the pelvis (urine-collecting basin) of the kidney and the ureter.
2. An x-ray of the urine-collecting part of the kidney.

The x-ray is taken after the introduction of a contrast medium either into the bloodstream or directly into the kidney in order to highlight the internal structures.

Radiologic study of the kidney, ureters, and usually the bladder, performed with the aid of a contrast agent either injected intravenously, or directly through a ureteral or nephrostomy catheter or percutaneously.
