(Latin: of, relating to, or resembling; compound of the suffixes -ule, "little, small" and -ar, "pertaining to, of the nature of, like"; and so, -ular is a combining form meaning: referring to something "specified": appendicular, molecular, pedicular; as well as, a combining form meaning "resembling" something specified: circular, globular, tubular)

globular (adjective), more globular, most globular
1. Referring to something that has the form of a ball, spherical: Jill's mother said,"Don't let those pills fall down because they have quite a globular shape!"
2. Consisting of globules: The rain that precipitation was composed of wet globular drops.
3. Worldwide; global: The news on TV was of a globular nature depicting situations and problems that existed throughout the world.
heptangular (hep-TANG-you-luhr) (adjective) (not comparable)
A reference to a format that has seven sharp corners or intersections: Students in the math class were learning that there are figures that have triangles (three angles), quadrangles (four angles), and that there are even heptangular forms that have seven angles.

A branch of pedal ganglion which supplies the funnel in cephalopods.
inocular
Inserted in the corner of the eye; a reference to the antenna of certain insects.
insular (adjective), more insular, most insular
1. Relating to the characteristic of being like or pertaining to an island or islands: As everybody should know, Australia is an insular continent, having water on all sides.
2. Characteristic of being separated or isolated: Jack didn't have many friends because he had an inward-looking, standoffish, and withdrawn insular manner.

Harry has little interaction with people because he has an insular attitude.
3. Descriptive of being narrow or limited in customs, opinions, etc.; provincial: There is a special reference of insular which refers to the islands of Great Britain and Ireland that is now the term given to the art of the early medieval period when the entire region shared a surprisingly unified artistic and cultural landscape and it is impossible to say from which part many old artworks are derived.
