unipolar electrocardiogram
1. An electrocardiogram taken with the exploring electrode placed on the chest over the heart or upon a single limb, the indifferent ("zero" potential) electrode being the central terminal.
2. An electrocardiogram that shows the potential detected by a single electrode.

In practice, this is obtained by using an exploring electrode and a second electrode; such as, a central terminal that is assumed to have zero potential.

ureterogram
A radiography of the ureter (either of the long, narrow tubes conveying the urine from the pelvis of each kidney to the urinary bladder) after the injection of a radiopague substance, usually through a ureteral catheter.
urethrogram
A radiographic visualization of the urethra (canal through which the urine is discharged) by the use of a contrast medium.
urinogram
A record of urinary elimination in graphic form.

1. An x-ray picture of the urinary tract or a part of it.
2. A radiograph, or radiographic visualization, of the urinary tract made after intravenous or retrograde injection of an opaque contrast medium.

The graphic record, usually a photograph, of the direction and magnitude of the electrical forces of the heart's movements: The cardiologist, Dr. Hendricks, studied the vectorcardiogram which was supplied by Susan, the medical technician, during the patient's examination.
venogram
A radiogram of a vein after injection of a contrast medium.
vesiculogram
A radiograph of the seminal vesicles.
vibrocardiogram
The graphic record of the vibrations of the heart as recorded on the chest wall.
videogram
1. A prerecorded video recording.
2. A commercial video film or disc.
voltagram
An old term that refers to a battery that produces constant voltage.
xerogram
Radiography using a specially coated charged plate instead of x-ray film, developing with a dry powder rather than liquid chemicals, and transferring the powder image onto paper for a permanent record.
xeromammogram
A xeroradiographic (a rapid method of recording a roentgen image with a dry process) depiction of the breast.
yoctogram, yg
The metric unit of 1.7 yg is equal to the mass of a proton or neutron.
