Although there are over 1,450 word entries ending with -ation or -ization listed in this unit, there are certainly many more which exist in the English language. At any rate, this unit provides a significant number of -ation and -ization examples for you to see.

dysmyelination
Improper laying down or breakdown of a myelin sheath of a nerve fiber, caused by abnormal myelin metabolism.
dysphallation
Painful or otherwise difficult coitus; especially, in males.
dyspigmentation
An abnormality of the skin or hair pigment (natural substance in plant or animal tissue that gives it its color).
dystrophication (s) (noun) (mp pl)
1. In medicine, a reference to a condition caused by dystrophy: Dystrophication is the progressive change that may result from defective nutrition of a tissue or organ.

Dystrophication relates to or is caused by faulty nutrition.
2. In ecology, with reference to a lake or pond, having too low an accumulation of dissolved nutrients to support abundant plant life: Dystrophication is another description of a lake or pond that contains highly acid, brownish waters filled with undecayed plant materials, and eventually developing into a peat bog or marsh.

Dystrophication refers to a lake with high humus material, sparse bottom fauna, and low dissolved oxygen.

eburnation
1. Changes in bone causing it to become dense and hard like ivory.
2. The thinning or absence of articular cartilage, as occurs in degenerative joint disease; such that the subchondral bone is exposed and lines parts of the articular cavity.
3. The polished, burnished appearance taken on by exposed dentin; dentin eburnation.
eburnation of dentin
A condition observed in arrested dental caries wherein decalcified dentin is burnished and takes on a polished, often brown-stained appearance.
eburnification
The conversion of certain substances into others which have the appearance or characteristics of ivory.
echolocation (s) (noun), echolocations (pl)
economization
The action or process of economizing (force, material, etc.).
edification (s) (noun), edifications (pl)
Instruction or enlightenment, especially when it is morally or spiritually uplifting: There are some TV programs that provide intellectual learning and edification for those listeners who pay attention.
An enlightenment of intellectual contents.
