cosmogonist
Someone who studies cosmogony or the study of the origin, and sometimes the development, of the universe or the solar systems, in astrophysics, religion, and other fields.
cosmographist
1. A scientist, or other specialist, knowledgeable about cosmography or the study and description or mapping of the entire world or of the universe.
2. A scholar who studies the visible universe that includes geography and astronomy.
cosmolatrist
Anyone who utilizes the instrument resembling the astrolabe (an early instrument used to observe the position and determine the altitude of the sun or other astronomical objects).
cosmologist
Someone who studies the physical universe which is considered a totality of phenomena in time and space.

1. Someone who has the belief that relates God with the universe or the cosmos.
2. A person who adheres to the doctrine, or belief, that God is the universe or who regards the universe as an embodiment or symbolism of God.
craniologist
Someone who scientifically studies the shapes, sizes, and other characteristics of human skulls.
creationist
1. Anyone who believes the doctrine that matter and all things were created, substantially as they now exist, by an omnipotent Creator, and not gradually evolved or developed.
2. Someone who adheres to the doctrine that the true story of the creation of the universe is as it is recounted in the Bible; especially, in the first chapter of the book of Genesis.
3. A person who accepts the doctrine that God immediately creates, out of nothing, a new human soul for each individual born.

1. Someone who burns dead bodies.
2. A person who advocates cremation, or the burning of the dead, instead of the burial of the whole body in the ground.
creophagist
Someone who eats flesh (meat) as food.
crinanthropist (s) (noun), crinanthropists (pl)
Someone who judges or criticizes mankind.
cruciverbalist (s) (noun), cruciverbalists (pl)
1. A devotee of crossword puzzles, or an expert at solving them.
2. A designer or aficionado of crossword puzzles; a maker or creator of crossword puzzles.
cryobiologist (s) (noun), cryobiologists (pl)
A specialist in the effects of low temperatures on biological systems: Tom wanted to become a cryobiologist after his studies in biology and learn more about the consequences of low temperatures on different forms of life.

Someone who applies the instrument that causes the destruction of tissue by freezing it (similar to "burning" it): Dr. Smith, the dermatologist, wa also a cryocauterist who was authorised to treat patients who wanted to get rid of their warts..
