epididymodeferentectomy
Excision of the epididymis (a structure within the scrotum attached to the backside of the testis) and the ductus deferens (the secretory duct of the testicle, running from the epididymis).
epididymovasectomy
Surgical removal of the epididymis and vas deferens, usually proximal (nearest) to its entry into the inguinal canal (a passage in the lower anterior abdominal wall).
epiephrine

1. In ecology, animals that live on the seafloor, or which are attached to other animals or objects under water.
2. The total animal life inhabiting a sediment surface or water surface; any encrusting organisms.
epifilter

Located or occurring at the point on the earth's surface directly above the focus epicenter of an earthquake or underground nuclear explosion.
epigamous
1. Relating to the mating of animals and the characteristics of color, etc., that serve to attract the opposite sex during courtship.
2. A reference to traits or behaviors which attract a mate.

Examples of epigamous traits include such physical features as bright feathers in birds or big antlers. With humans, it might be a fancy sports car, a luxury car, or certain bodily attractions and personality.

epigastralgia (s) (noun) (no pl)
Suffering in the epigastric region: Epigastralgia describes the pain in the area above the stomach between the right and left hypochondriac regions (the anatomic area of the upper abdomen just below (Greek hypo, "below") the cartilage (Greek chondros, "cartilage" or the rubbery tissue) between the ribs.

Hypochondriasis was thought by the ancients to be caused by the disturbed function of the spleen and other organs in the upper abdomen.

epigastrium
That part of the abdominal wall that is above the umbilicus (belly button).
epigeal

An organism that lives on or near the surface of the ground: Epigeans are organisms that creep or crawl, like worm lizards, or grow, like a vine, on top of the soil.

Termites, for example, dwell in an epigeal mound or nest which is above ground.
