agio-
(Greek > Italian: change; a fee charged by money brokers [changers] for exchanging money)
An amount charged as a premium or percentage for changing one country's currency into that of another: An agio can also be an allowance or discount given when paying in a foreign currency to compensate for the costs of exchanging the currency.
