Slowness of speech due to the impaired mobility of the tongue, which may be due to local tongue or mouth pathology or disease, or to more distant neural lesions.
bradykinesia
Slowed ability to start and to continue movements, and the impaired ability to adjust the body's position.

This can be a symptom of neurological disorders, particularly Parkinson's disease, or a side effect of medications.

2. Abnormal slowness or deliberation in speech.

It may be occasioned by organic or psychological pathology or both and is common in depressed conditions.
