The Wangs crocodile named in honor of Wang Tze-Yi, noted Chinese paleontologist, for a form found near Wuxlang, Shanxi Province, China. From Late Triassic Asia (China). Named by Young in 1964.
The Yangs crocodile named in honor of Yang Zhong Jian [Chung-chien Young] (1897-1979), a famous Chinese vertebrate paleontologist. From Triassic China. Named by Sennikov in 1985.
