In certain plants, a reference to bearing female organs at the tip end of the stem: An ancrogynous plant produces a multicellular reproductive formation at its apex which incorporates a large, immobile gamete and in which an embryo can develop.

The concept that; especially, at the corporate executive level, the two genders will equally demonstrate avarice, savagery, unbridled competition, etc.: Androgygreeds involve the notion that female lawyers and politicians are fit counterparts to their male colleagues.

A reference to a male resembling a female; or possessing female features.

1. Descriptive of uniting the physical characteristics of both genders of male and female.
2. In botany, relating to bearing both stamens and pistils in the same flower, or on the same plant.
3. Relating to bearing both masculine and feminine characteristics, as in attitudes and behaviors that contain features of stereotyped, culturally sanctioned gender roles of both male and female.

1. In botany, characteristic of having the carpels or female reproductive structures in flowering plants not equal in number to the sepals or the outermost whorl of a typical flower, probably representing a leaf modified as part of the protective outer layer of a flower.
2. Descriptive of husband or wife who is married to another person whose age differs by an unusually large degree from the other partner.

Pertaining to the loss of the function in female reproduction organs.
caligyniaphobia (s) (noun) (no plural)
An abnormal fear of glamorous women: Thomas acquired caligyniaphobia after having an extremely difficult relationship with a dazzlingly beautiful lady and thereafter felt intensely uncomfortable and nervous when around gorgeous women, mistrusting them completely.
decagynia (s) (noun), decagynias (pl)
An order of plants characterized by having ten styles or the center of flowers.
decagynous (adjective) (no comparatives)
In botany, relating to having ten pistils.
dichthadiigyne (s) (noun), dichthadiigynes (pl)
A blind ant with a large gaster and ovaries.
digynia (s) (noun), digynias (pl)
Plants that have two styles or the elongated part of a pistil between the ovary and the stigma.
