A situation in which a person has had a happy or pleased feeling because of something that someone has done or that which has happened: Henry's satisfiedness was a result of doing something that others had tried but could not accomplish.

A person who is capable of producing the needs, desires, or expectations of others.

To meet the needs, desires, or expectations of others: Jacob has never been satisfied with his job and that's why he is looking for employment in some other company.

In religion, the achievement of atonement with an adequate degree of suffering: In the story Mary was reading, the main character gained satispassion after many years of helping and caring for the sick in his country.

To cause something to become thoroughly soaked with liquid so that no more can be absorbed: The soil in Margaret's garden is being saturated with water from the rain.

1. Characteristic of holding as much moisture as can be soaked by the earth: Joan made sure that the saturated roots of the rosebush had been accomplished before she planted it in the big flower pot.
2. Pertaining to being unable to hold or to contain more of something: The saturated fields of flood waters were certainly a problem where James was living.

Some accuse President Trump of making statements that are simply saturated lies.

A substance suspended in the air, the temperature and pressure of which, are such that any compression of its volume at constant temperature causes it to condense to liquid at a rate sufficient to maintain a constant pressure.

Translation: "They are silent, they praise enough."

"Silence is praise enough" is a line from Terence's Eunuchus, and probably acknowledges that rapt attention in an audience can be more flattering than applause.

A situation in which what is expected is not fulfilled: The washing machine that Joan recently purchased is producing nothing but unsatisfactoriness; so, she is calling the salesman to either come and fix it or replace it with one that really does the job.

A reference to being unacceptable because of not being good enough: JoAnn found herself in an unsatisfactory situation when she couldn't start her car because of a dead battery.
