1. Any record on paper or film made by an electrical event.

3. A unipolar or bipolar record of the electric activity of the heart as recorded by electrodes within the cardiac chambers or on the epicardium; such as, the atrial electrogram, and the ventricular electrogram.
4. The graphic representation of electric events in living tissues; most commonly, an electrocardiogram or electroencephalogram.

An intracardiac electrogram which records electrical potentials within the upper region of the right upper chamber of the heart that receives blood from the veins and forces it into the lower part of the heart that moves blood to the rest of the body, obtained by the introduction of electrodes high in the upper part of the heart near the sinus node or the small mass of specialized cardiac muscle fibers located in the back wall of the right upper space of the heart: The atrial electrogram is used in localizing conduction blocks or delays in the normal flow of electrical impulses which cause the heart to beat and diagnosing arrhythmias or abnormal rates or rhythms, of the heart.

An intracardiac electrogram which records electrical potentials within the coronary sinus: A coronary sinus electrogram is used for the indirect monitoring of the left ventricular hollow parts or cavities in an organ or in each of the two main chambers of the heart, left and right.

An intracardiac electrogram which is obtained by placing electrodes in the apex of the right ventricle.

It is used in mapping ventricular arrhythmias.

An intracardiac electrogram that is obtained by placing electrodes in the right ventricle.

It is used to asses ventricular activities and responses to stimuli.

An intracardiac electrogram obtained by placing electrodes near the sinus node or the cardiac muscle fibers located in the posterior wall of the right atrium of the heart which acts as a pacemaker by generating at regular intervals the electric impulses of the heartbeat.

The purpose is to examine the time for impulse conductions from the node to the atrium, one of the upper chambers on either side of the heart, which receive blood from the body and transmit it to the ventricles.
