apallesthesia
Absence of the sense of vibration.
hyperpallesthesia
An increased sharpness of the sense of vibration (a form of pressure sense; most acute when a vibrating tuning fork is applied over a bony prominence).
hypopallesthesia
Decreased sharpness of the sense of vibration.
pallanesthesia
1. The loss of the sense of vibration.
2. The insensibility to the vibrations of a tuning fork.
pallesthesia, palmesthesia
Sensibility to vibrations; the peculiar vibrating sensation felt when a quivering tuning-fork is placed against a subcutaneous bony prominence of the body. Also called "bone sensibility".
pallesthetic
1. Characterized by sensibility to vibrations.
2. Referring to the peculiar vibrating sensation felt when a quivering tuning-fork is placed against a subcutaneous bony prominence of the body.
pallhypesthesia
A diminished sensibility to vibrations.
pallyhyperesthesia
An abnormal increase of sensibilities to vibrations.
palmanesthesia, pallanesthesia
The loss or damage that results in a reduction of strength or quality of the sense of vibration; such as, the inability to perceive the vibrations of a tuning fork.
palmesthetic, pallesthetic
A reference to the sensitivity of vibrations.
