A Variety of Owls

Any of various nocturnal birds of prey of the order Strigiformes having hooked and feathered talons, large heads with short hooked beaks, big eyes set forward, and fluffy plumage that allows for almost noiseless flight.

Athena, the Greek Goddess of Wisdom had a companion Owl on her shoulder, which revealed unseen truths to her.
