brachiocrural
A reference to the arm and leg.
crura
A pair of elongated masses or diverging bands, resembling legs.
crura of anthelix or antihelix
The two ridges on the external ear marking the superior termination of the anthelix, or antihelix, and bounding the triangular fossa.

The antihelix is the semicircular ridge on the ear anterior and parallel to the helix (winding structure) of the ear.

crural
1. Pertaining to the leg or thigh; femoral.
2. A reference to the lower limb or to a leglike structure (crus).
crural hernia
1. A hernia which protrudes behind the posterior layer of the femoral sheath.
2. A common type of groin hernia which occurs most often in obese females.
crural palsy
Paralysis of the nerves of the legs; that is, the 12th thoracic, first to fifth lumbar, and the first to third sacral spinal nerves.
cruralaphile, cruralaphilist
A collector of female pinups or a passion for collecting such items.
crureus, vastus intermedius
One of the four muscles of the quadriceps femoris group, situated in the center of the thigh under the rectus femoris.

It comes up from the front and lateral surfaces of the femur (main bone in the human thigh) and the medial and lateral intermuscular septa (thin partition or membrane).

Its fibers end in a superficial aponeurosis that forms the deep part of the quadriceps femoris tendon, inserted under the patella and onto the tibial tuberosity.

It functions with the other three muscles of the quadriceps to extend the leg. Its deepest fibers are called articularis genus (the small skeletal muscle located anteriorly on the thigh just above the knee).

crurofact
A fetish, or sexual attraction, for legs.
crurogenital
Referring to the thighs and the external genital organs.
crurophilia
The love of or the erotic fixation on legs.
crurophilous
A reference to someone who likes legs.
cruroscrotal
Pertaining to the thighs and the external genital organs.
crurotomy, crusotomy
The surgical cutting of a crus or crura of the stapes ( the innermost of the three auditory ossicles or small bones of the middle ear), usually the anterior crus.
crurotrichosis
1. A condition marked by hair growing on the legs; especially, when excessive.
2. Any disease of or affecting hair located on the legs (may even include hair in the scrotum or genital areas).
