The words in this list refer either to physical or mental perceptions, or a combination of both. These elements come from Latin sentire, to feel, and the related element sensus, feeling, perception (in both the physical and mental perspectives).

supersensual
Beyond the range of the normal senses; hypersensual.
tacit consent
1. In law, tacit approval of someone's wrongdoing.
2. The tacit encouragement or assent (without participation) to wrongdoing by another.
3. Knowledge of and tacit consent to the commission of an illegal act by someone else.

1. A device for determining temperature; also may be used to monitor control of temperatures.
2. A thermometer whose impedance varies with the ambient temperature and so is able to measure extremely small changes in temperature.
3. A reference in electronics to a temperature-sensitive semiconductor device possessing a negative temperature coefficient (i.e., resistance decreases as temperature increases); commonly used as a bolometer to measure temperatures and, indirectly, microwave energy levels.

2. Denoting sensory nerve fibers that innervate blood vessels.
visceral sensation
Any crude sensation appreciated as coming from the internal organs or viscera; such as, pain or a feeling of distention or fullness.
viscerosensory
A reference to sensations aroused by the stimulation of visceroreceptors.
viscerosensory reflex
1. A form of referred pain in which stimuli within the viscera cause a painful sensation when touch or pressure is applied to some superficial region of the body.
2. Pain or tenderness elicited in somatic structures (skin and muscle) caused by a visceral disorder.
visuosensory
1. Pertaining to the perception of visual stimuli or visual impressions.
2. Relating to the perception of stimuli giving rise to visual impressions.
