tempo-, tempor-
(Latin: time, occasion)
Don't confuse this tempo- element with other words that refer to the temples; such as, the flattened sides of the forehead or the buildings used for religious worship or services. They simply have no connection with this element.
2. Someone who is hired to work in an office or other workplace for a limited time only.
3. Belonging to the present life or this world.
Also: "One must keep abreast of the times". A related expression is Temporibus inserviendum; literally, "One must pay attention to the times."

Another version is, "Time is a great healer." This expression comes from Ovid's Remedia Amoris.

Urban contemporary started as an American radio format designed to appeal to advertisers who felt that "black radio" would not reach a wide enough audience.
Responding to disco's waning popularity in the late 1970's, African-American-oriented radio created two new, nearly synonymous formats: retronuevo and quiet storm (the second was named after a Smokey Robinson hit); and both were characterized by a subtle, smooth musical approach that looked back to the rhythm-and-blues ballad tradition.
