Camposaurus
Called “Camp’s lizard” from Late Triassic Bluewater Creek Formation of the Chinle Group, Late Carnian of Arizona. It was named for Charles Lewis Camp (1893-1975), an American vertebrate paleontologist, who excavated the Placerias quarry. Named by Adrian Paul Hunt, Frederic Augustus Lucas (1852-1929), Andrew Heckert, Robert M. Sullivan, and Martin Lockley (University of Colorado-Denver geologist) in 1998.
