The method of bringing forward a number of particular instances to lead to a general conclusion; argument by induction.

1. A roentgenogram of the esophagus obtained during esophagraphy.

1. Radiography of the esophagus using swallowed or injected radiopaque contrast media.
2. Roentgenography of the esophagus while or immediately after a patient swallows a positive contrast medium; such as, barium sulfate suspended in water.
3. The technique of obtaining an esophagogram.
ethnagogue
A leader of a nation.
galactagogue
An agent that promotes the secretion and flow of milk.
gerontagogy
A recently coined term that refers to the education of the elderly.
haemagogue, hemagogue
Promoting a menstrual or hemorrhoidal discharge of blood.
helminthagogue
1. Having the power to expel intestinal worms; anthelmintic.
2. A medicine for expelling intestinal worms.
3. Helminthagogues, or Helminthicks, medicines that drive out worms or cause them to be voided.
hemagogic
Promoting the flow of blood.
